Connecticut Water Invites Customers to Open House in Clinton

Event takes place from 10 a.m. - 2 p.m. on May 9

CLINTON, Conn. — April 25, 2024 — Connecticut Water Company welcomes customers and the public to an open house at the company’s corporate office and shoreline region work center in Clinton on Thursday, May 9 during National Drinking Water Week.

“Our team of local water professionals are eager to share their expertise in water service with our customers,” Connecticut Water President Craig J. Patla, P.E., said. “We know that high-quality drinking water and reliable service are essential to our customers and the community, and this open house is great way to share our commitment to service.” 

The event is free and open to the general public, with experiences for all ages.  Registration is not required, but guests 18 years and over must bring government-issued photo ID. 

Some of the information stations at the open house will include the water treatment process, water testing with a laboratory setup, equipment used in field customer service and construction, a demonstration of how water flows through your home, your meter and generates a water bill. Staff will also demonstrate safety procedures and equipment, and discuss the Linebacker protection program. 

Service trucks will also be on display and our Water Drop Watchers team will host interactive displays for children and adults to raise awareness about the importance of protecting and conserving water.
